1830 Broadside Printing of the Declaration of Independence
BROADSIDE PRINTING OF THE DECLARATION OF INDEPENDENCE
Rare broadsheet printing of the Declaration of Independence printed by S. N. Dickinson, circa 1830; published by the Boston Bewick Company, notable mapmakers of the period. The broadsheet reproduces the declaration in its entirety, with each signature reproduced in facsimile. Bordering the text is a wreath design intertwined with the state seals of each of the original thirteen colonies. The declaration displays paper loss along the peripheral edges-water staining throughout. The main body of this document is in good condition. This incredible example of the Declaration reelects the resilience of the United States of America.
