Rare Votes for Women folded paper drinking cup was a printed advertising for the 1915 New York Empire State Campaign to add a women’s suffrage amendment to the State constitution. The Campaign led by suffragette Carrie Chapman Catt (1859-1947) was unsuccessful that year, however, just two years later in 1917 their driving force helped women earn the right to vote when the 19th amendment was added to the New York State constitution.

The folded cup is in good condition for its use and age, printed in blue ink- “Drink to the Success” of the Empire State Campaign, New York, VOTES FOR WOMEN arched over a rising sun illustration 1915.
